Dr. Sumita Prabhakar, an IVF and infertility specialist, was invited to the Hello Doctor programme of Doordarshan Kendra Uttarakhand to discuss “Infertility and IVF” and answer live questions from viewers.
In this programme, Dr. Sumita Prabhakar answered questions from the audience regarding topics such as Fallopian Tube Blockage, Appropriate Age for Pregnancy, the ART Bill of the Government of India, IUI, ICSI, etc. The programme, which was broadcast on Doordarshan’s Uttarakhand centre about IVF and infertility, also received calls from viewers in Maharashtra. A call came into this programme from a 49-year-old woman who wants to become a mother. Dr. Sumita Prabhakar provided the woman with important information and explained her options.
Dr. Sumita Prabhakar dispelled many myths about IVF in this programme and provided the audience with accurate information.
